Purple Heart is one of the most expensive woods in the world.  It is also almost unbreakable, highly sustainable, and naturally purple!  The wood was hand cut by Amish carpenters and expertly sanded for over 30 minutes each.  The woods may be slightly cup or curve but can still be framed or displayed on an easel unframed.  They have applied clear gesso on both sides to to completely seal and prevent further cupping or curving to the boards.
